The MAGAL Computerized Control Center (CCC) is an advanced small security management system consisting of a com-munication board and a software package installed in a PC. The CCC can interface directly with a MAGAL DTR-2000 or YAEL-15 or 16 Perimeter Intrusion Detection System, or any other alarm system having a dry contact output (such as PIR, volumetric, smoke, fire and gas leakage detection, etc.).

Redundancy of the system is achieved by using an optional "Hot-Backup" computer, which will automatically take over the control should a malfunction occur in the base CCC.

In the DTR-2000 configuration, the CCC incorporates closed-loop communication that maintains continuous contact with the system's Sensor Post Reporting Units (SPRU) even in the event of a break in the communication line. Communication with the SPRU is bidirectional. One CCC can monitor up to 256 SPRU, each of which can handle up to seven inputs. Each CCC can also output up to six commands, such as intrusion alarms, floodlights, sirens, CCTV, etc. Appropriate, on-screen instructions alert the CCC operator in case of an alarm.

Standard modem and telephone lines to a host computer, which can display global system data (graphics and text), can link one or more CCC. Furthermore, any CCC can be incorporated in and serve as part of the Magal MagNet SMS (Security Management System).

INFORMATION SUPPLIED BY THE CCC:

When an alarm is received, the following information is clearly visible to the operator:

	The location of the alarm along the perimeter. This location is given to a resolution of one sensor post (usually 40 to 50 m (44 to 55 yards))
	The height at which the alarm was generated, to an accuracy of about 40 to 50 cm (16 to 20 in.)
	The type of alarm - a cut or a pulled barbed wire
	Notification if the communication cable has been cut, and where?
	Notification if a sensor is being tampered with, and where?
